The Lady Cannoneers open their Season with a Win!

The Lady Cannoneers won 15-10 in their first game of the season in our home opener against Broome Community College.  Erica Gardner chipped in 5 goals and 2 assists. Ashley Kirch recorded 8 saves for JCC.  The team looked great for the first time stepping on the field for their first game. With a few new girls on the roster we are going to improve game by game and look for leadership from Gabrielle Navarra and Caitlin Stone.  Athlete of the Week Cierra Recor had 5 goals 1 assist, 5 draw controls, and 3 groundballs.

Last night Jefferson traveled to compete against the tough competitor Mohawk Valley.  The Lady Cannoneers defeated the Lady Hawks 12-11, making them 2-0 on the season so far.
