Jefferson Women's Lacrosse Ended Their Season on a High Note

Last night the Lady Cannoneers ended their regular season with a 17-2 win over their host the Mohawk Valley Lady Hawks.  Annette Rishe led the team with 4 goals, while Mackenzie Kidder, Jillian Primicias, Taylor Rosette, Morgan Exford, and Kaitlin Brierton added 2 goals a piece.  Madesyn Alexander also contributed 3 goals.  Victoria Fusco had 19 saves in goal for Jefferson.

The Ladies will now prepare for the first round of the NJCAA Region III Women's Lacrosse Tournament, which will be held at Monroe Community College.  The #3 ranked Lady Cannoneers will take on the #2 ranked Onondaga Lady Lazers. The game is set to start at 2:30 pm.  The first game will be the #1 Monroe taking on #4 Mohawk Valley Community College, game time will be 12:00 pm.
