The Lady Cannoneers Victorious in Home Opener

On Saturday the Jefferson Women's Soccer team defeated the visiting Corning Women's Soccer team in their home opener 3-1.

Freshman Morgan Nabywaniec (Indian River) scored 2 goals for the Lady Cannoneers, one was assisted by Whitney Maitland (Belleville Henderson).  Sophomore Brianna Sharlow (Chaumont) scored the 3rd goal assisted by Paige Hart (Oswego).

Sophomore Kate Gehrke in her debut in the Goalie position had 8 saves for Jefferson!
