Katie Aldrich Commits to Division I Canisius College

We are very excited and proud to announce Katie Aldrich has been offered a scholarship and has committed to play Division I soccer at Canisius College.

Katie was highly recruited by the Canisius Golden Griffins as well as several other institutions. After a couple of visist and meetings with the coaches, Katie knew this was a great fit. Katie will be continuing her studies in the early childhood education program in hopes to become a teacher in the near future.

Katie has had an outstanding 2 years with Jefferson and has been honored with several awards including:

Several Athletes of the week
2 time MSAC, All Conference
2 time Region III, All Region first team
All American as a Freshman
Outstanding Freshman Female Athlete at Jefferson
Team MVP for her Freshman year
She was ranked in the top of the Region in all Goalkeeping stats and nationally rank in the top ten in several categories.

She has always been very modest and acknowledges her teammates for being a large part of her success.

The Golden Griffs are not only getting an outstanding Goalkeeper, they are also getting a great academic student, a student leader and a well-rounded young lady. Katie's academic success and her hard work, especially in the off-season, have made this opportunity possible.
