Women's Soccer Fall in Home Opener

Jefferson women's soccer has only 4 returners from last year's team. Though we only have 4 returners, Taylors Andrews (Gouverneur HS), Emily Bush (Gouverneur HS), Bridgit David (Belleville Henderson), and Bryanna Gagnon (Carthage HS), they bring some strong leadership to an exciting team of first year players. We have some of the best talent from the local area combined with some great talent from outside the area. We have many first year players to watch out for a few that have already started to stand out are Julia Owens (Beaver River), Caitlyn Gerrard (Cincinnatas HS), Bryanna Powell and Katrina Durant (Norwood-Norfolk), Natalie Hike and Kendra Grim (Carthage), Katlyn Catalina (Lyme) and Zoe Stuckey and Kellie Salisbury (Belleville-Henderson).

On Saturday the Lady Cannoneers hosted the Erie Lady Kats in their home opener of the season. The Lady Kats took control of the game with a 6-0 win over Jefferson.

The Women's Soccer team looks to bounce back on Wednesday when they host the visiting North Country Lady Saints at 2:00 pm here on Campus.
