On Saturday evening the Jefferson Women's Soccer team took on the visiting Lady Timberwolves from SUNY Adirondack. They game was played on the Watertown High School Turf Field. Both teams came in looking for their first win of the season. Adirondack struck first in the 12th minute, then again at the 34th minute, going into the half up 2-0 on the Lady Cannoneers. Jefferson came back from half-time and answered with a goal of their own from Paige Hamilton assisted by Sierra Fleming-Carlisle. The Lady Cannoneers still looking for their first win as they fell to SUNY Adirondack 2-1.
The Jefferson Women's Soccer team will take on the Onondaga Lady Lazers on Wednesday. Game time is set for 2:00 pm here at Jefferson.
