Wiley and Beeckman's Named Jefferson Co-Athletes of the Week

Sophomore Pitcher/Infielder, Delaney A. Wiley of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) softball team, and freshman pitcher, Tom W. Beeckmans, of the Jefferson Community College baseball team, were named JCC co-athletes of the week ending April 6, 2025. 

Delaney, a 2023 graduate of Thousand Islands Central School, is majoring in Business Administration at Jefferson.  Wiley’s accomplishments at the plate this past week included going 6 for 12, having a .500 batting average, scoring 4 runs, and hitting two doubles, and stealing 2 bases.

Tom, a 2024 graduate of Kta Dendermonde, Belgium, is majoring in Psychology at Jefferson.  Beeckmans’ accomplishments on the mound this past week included starting the second game of a road, divisional double header at SUNY Adirondack. His performance included 5 innings pitched, striking out 6, and allowing just 1 run and 1 walk in the 4-1 JCC win. Going back further, in his last 2 starts combined versus Adirondack and nationally ranked Hudson Valley, Tom's stat line includes 10 innings pitched, 3 earned runs, 11 strikeouts, and just 1 walk.
