The nationally ranked Vikings got off to a quick start in game 1, ultimately being too much to overcome. Michael Caraballo provided 2 RBI at the plate with a double. Josh Matteson pitched a solid 3 1/3 innings in relief.
Game 2 saw the Cannoneers fight all the way to the end, but defensive errors were too costly. JCC carried a 4-3 deficit into the 6th inning, but Hudson Valley would capitalize on our mistakes to make it 7-3. Tom Beeckmans pitched a great game on the mound, throwing 5 innings, allowing just 2 earned runs and striking out 5. Braiden Bley would drive in 2 RBI for JCC. Anthony Celar led the bats with 3 hits, while Ryan Murnane and Nick Spivey each had 2 hits.
