Johnson, Sanford, and Jeeves Commit to Jefferson Hockey
Jefferson Community College (JCC) is excited to announce the commitment of three outstanding hockey players to its program for the 2025-2026 season. We welcome Dylan Johnson, Evan Sanford, and Mason Jeeves to the JCC family.
Dylan Johnson, a forward from Fort Covington, New York, and a Salmon River Shamrocks High Varsity Hockey Team member, has committed to JCC. Dylan was recently named a state All-Star selection following his impressive performance at the New York State tournament earlier this month. His remarkable skills and dedication on the ice have made him a standout player.
Evan Sanford, a defenseman from Alexandria Bay, NY, and a key player for the Thousand Islands Islanders Varsity Hockey Team, has also committed to JCC. This past season, Evan was among the top scorers for defensemen in Section 10, showcasing his offensive prowess and defensive reliability. His contributions to the team have been invaluable, and we are excited to see him bring his talents to JCC.
Mason Jeeves, from Wilmington, NC, joins JCC after playing AAA hockey for the North Carolina Golden Bears in the NA1THL 18U Division this past season. Mason's experience and skill set will be a great addition to our program, and we look forward to seeing him excel on the ice. Prior to playing for the Golden Bears, Mason was a standout forward in the Junior Canes program.
In the past season, Dylan Johnson played in 22 games, scoring 25 goals and providing 25 assists, totaling an impressive 50 points. Evan Sanford, a defenseman for the Thousand Islands Islanders, also played in 22 games, scoring 9 goals and providing 24 assists. Dylan and Evan join recent JCC signing Mason Savage of the TI Islanders, who scored 21 goals and had 37 assists for 58 points in the same season. These three players are among the top scorers in Section 10 hockey, and we are delighted to announce their arrival to the JCC hockey program.
Their talent, dedication, and achievements make them valuable additions to our team, and we are excited to see what they will accomplish in the upcoming seasons. Welcome to JCC, Dylan, Evan, and Mason!
