eSports Results for the Week of March 18th-March 22nd

Jefferson Fortnite continues their excellent season. Team 1 consisting of Ian Jarrard and Andrew Carroll would out eliminate their competition 38-12 in a dominating 2-0 series victory as they remain in first place in the standing.  Team 2 consisting of Nick Derouin and Andrew Pierce would have less luck and would drop their series for the second week in a row. Pierce would have 11 eliminations in game 1 despite the loss.

Dan Peguerra would continue his undefeated spring in Super Smash Bros in a hard fought 4-3 victory. Dan would lead the series early 3-1 but would find himself fighting a winner take all game 7. Ultimately, Peguerra would prevail and win 4-3. Harry Scott would find himself on the wrong side of a 4-3 matchup in his game after coming back to even the series 3 games to 3. Cannoneer Call of Duty looks to get back in the win column. Jefferson would even the series with a 6-4 search and destroy victory after dropping map 1 250-220. However, the team would not keep the momentum into maps 3 and 4 and would lose the series 3-1.

The Overwatch team also looks to remain undefeated. Once again, the team continues to play well off the back of Cole Johnson who tallied 78 kills in a dominate performance and a 3-0 series win.  The Valorant squad would win via FF against Vincennes and the Rainbow team would round out the week with a 2-0 defeat to Finger Lakes.
