eSports Results for the Week of November 11th-14th

The Fortnite team had a mixed week, starting with a tough 0-2 loss to Northwest College and a narrow 1-2 defeat against Louisburg. They bounced back with a commanding 2-0 win over Highland CC but fell again to Louisburg in another tight 1-2 contest. The trio of Ian Jarrard, Andrew Pierce, and Ruby Maitland recorded their first losses of the season after an impressive 10-0 start, showcasing their skill but also the intensity of their competition.

The SSBU team opened the day with a dominant 4-0 sweep over Three Rivers but encountered challenges later, losing 4-1 to Salt Lake and 4-0 to Marshalltown. Peguerra continues to shine with strong play, while Scott and McCauley aim to rebound from their recent matches.  The COD team faced a tough 3-0 loss to State Fair. Despite the result, Robert Leyva stood out with impressive performances in Control and Search and Destroy, providing a bright spot for the squad.

In an intense, back-and-forth matchup, the Overwatch team narrowly lost 3-2 to Northwest Arkansas. Cole Johnson delivered an outstanding performance as a tank, leading the team in a hard-fought battle that came down to the final match.

The Mario Kart team began the day with a strong 4-1 victory over Dutchess, displaying excellent racing and tactical play. However, they faced a tough 4-0 defeat to Danville Area CC later in the day, wrapping up a mixed outing for the team. The Valorant squad faced a challenging matchup against Shelton State, resulting in a 2-0 loss. They will regroup and look to improve in their upcoming games.
