The Cannoneers would come back on Saturday against Corning CC Red Barons, only to see their comeback fall short in the second half.
Jefferson came out flat and found themselves down by 20 at half, only to battle back and get within 5 points with 3 minutes to go in the game and eventually fall to Corning by the score of 73-63. It was another balanced scoring attack for the Cannoneers as Ikechukwu Ezike Jr. would lead the way with 20pts/10 rebounds for his second double of the year. Following Ikey in the scoring column was Jeremiah Smith with 12pts/5assists and Shamell Ponds with 11 pts.
