The Cannoneers traveled to Auburn, NY to face the Spartans of Cayuga CC and came away with an Impressive 66-51 win. Defense and a balanced team effort helped propel the Cannoneers to their first win of the season. The Cannoneers would lead at halftime by the score of 37-21 and would never let the Spartans get any closer than 10 points in the second half for the final score of 66-51 in Jefferson's favor.
Leading the way for the Cannoneers was Ibrahim Wally with 18 points, followed by Ikechukwu Ezike Jr. with 11 and Shamell Ponds with 9 points. Also chipping in were Dante Stokes with 7 points and Jeremiah Smith with 6 points. The Cannoneers are off for Thanksgiving break and then return to action at Home versus the TC3 Panthers on November 29th.
