The Cannoneers continued to play close games as they eked out a 72-70 win over OCC on Thursday night. Leading the way for the Cannoneers was Jeremiah Smith with 24 pts/8 rebounds, followed by Ibrahim Wally 11 pts/8 rebounds and Shamell Ponds with 11 pts and Ikechukwu Ezike Jr. with 8 pts/8rebs. The Cannoneers would battle all night and come away with key defensive stops in the waning minutes of the game. Next up is Mid State foe Finger Lakes Community College on Saturday afternoon.
