Cannoneers Start Off the Second Half of the Season with a Win

The Cannoneers opened the Second semester with a convincing 84-72 win over Clinton Community College at the McVean center.  It was the first time the Cannoneers had played in 32 days and the beginning of the game was close until the Cannoneers went on a run to end the first half up by 17 points at the half.  The Cannoneers would extend the lead to 20 plus points in the second half and cruise to the 85-72 victory.

Leading the Way for the Cannoneers was Shamell Ponds with 21 points, followed by Ikechukwu Ezike Jr. with 11 points, Matthew Brown with 10 points and Scott Geathers with 10 points in the balanced scoring effort for the Cannoneers
