Mohawk Valley was the victor in the first game by a score of 11-7. Sarah Johnson got the start for SUNY Jefferson and allowed 11 runs (9 earned runs) in 6 innings pitched taking the loss and evening her record to 1-1. Paige Kloster pitched a scoreless inning in relief. Offensively the Cannoneers were led by Bailey Zicari, Leah Briones, and Isabella Soluri who each recorded to hits apiece.

Georgia Barton pitched a complete game 8 hitter allowing 2 runs and striking out 3, to earn her second win of the season and running her record to 2-0. The Cannoneers offense pounded out 18 hits against 3 Mohawk Valley pitchers. Isabella Soluri was 4 for 5 with a double and 2 runs batted in. Kaylee Johnson was 3-5 with a triple and 4 runs batted in.
