for being named to the

2023 NJCAA All-American 1st Team

Malena Stevenson a freshman from Chaumont, vice-captain and midfield maestro for the Cannoneers, has been deservedly selected for the prestigious First Team All-American Award.

Malena finished the season 3rd in the nation for assists (16), and 31st in the nation for points (28). Malena has exemplified what it means to be a Cannoneer Women's Soccer player by leading the team on and off the field. When asked about her selection for the award she acknowledged her teammates first "I couldn't have done it without them. It is nice to see our hard work payoff, we're all very excited about what we can achieve together next year".
