Jefferson Volleyball continues to Rock the Courts!

Last night the Jefferson Lady Cannoneers continued to add to their winning streak as they defeated their host, the Onondaga Lady Lazers 3-1. (25-17, 21-25, 25-23, 25-11) This important win against OCC takes them to 3-0 in the conference and 9-4 overall.

Francesca Barajas contributed 10 service points, 9 digs, and 11 kills.  Captains Lahni Duffer and Katie Peters once again put up solid performances.  Lahni had 18 service points and 37 assists and Katie had 13 sevice points and 22 digs.  Katie Slate came up big in the front line with 3 blocks, 7 digs, and 11 kills while Ashley Capone added 4 blocks and 12 kills.  

Coach Kent added, "The team made a statement in the fourth set, they played very strong and smart and plan on taking that in to this weekend's matches on Saturday at home in the Jefferson Pod."
