Jefferson Volleyball remains UNDEFEATED at home!
The Lady Cannoneers defeated #6 seed Herkimer on Saturday, as well as SUNY Delhi and Mohawk Valley Community College to keep them undefeated at home.
Coach Kent says their confidence is soaring among the team as they head in to the last week of play in September with a 12-4 record. The domination of Ashley Capone and Hannah McGregor at middle blocker made it very difficult for teams to run their offense. Hannah had 17 kills and 9 blocks while Ashley had 51 kills and 12 blocks. Francesca Barajas added 27 service points, 29 kills, and 24 digs on the outside as well as Katie Slate contributing 18 digs, 30 kills, and 5 blocks. Once again, captains Katie Peters and Lahni Duffer each put up strong performances. Lahni had 118 assists and 45 service points while Katie compiled 62 digs and 36 service points.
