The Lady Cannoneers go 3-0 at the Onondaga Pod!

The Lady Cannoneers traveled to Onondaga Community College for Regional play on Saturday, September 14th and ended the day 3-0.  The team defeated Tompkins Cortland Community College first,  25-6, 25-14, 25-6, then defeated SUNY Delhi 25-16, 25-18, 25-20, and finally defeated Broome Community College 25-20, 25-16, 20-25, and 25-13.  Co-Captains Ashley Capone and Shelby Contryman were a steady force throughout the day.  Ashley racked up 31 service points, 29 kills, 11 blocks, and 19 digs while Shelby compiled 33 service points, 63 assists, and 20 digs.  Haley Riley added 32 service points, 24 kills, and 19 digs while Kierstin Burke had 18 service points, 10 kills, and 35 digs.  Stephanie Ennist had 19 service points and 9 digs for the day.  Nikki Wormwood added 13 kills, Haley Zicari had 7 service points, and Keysha De Jesus Ortiz added 12 service points.  The girls face three tough teams this Saturday at Monroe Community College for continuation of Regional Play.  Going 4-0 this week certainly gives them some much needed momentum!
