The Lady Cannoneers Faced a Tough Road Trip This Past Weekend

The Lady Cannoneers traveled to Monroe Community College on Saturday.  After going 4-0 last week the team struggled against 3 tough opponents and came out with 3 losses.  This small team of 8 realized in one day just how important each team member really is.  Jefferson first fell to Corning 21-25, 25-27, 19-25, then to Monroe in five sets 22-25, 25-17, 25-18, 16-25, 13-15, and finally to Finger Lakes in three sets 19-25, 25-27, 21-25.  Ashley Capone contributed 13 service points, 36 kills, and 11 blocks.  Haley Riley added 27 service points, 35 kills, and 43 digs while Kierstin Burke compiled 20 service points, 13 kills, and 59 digs.  The team travels to Broome on Wednesday.
