The Lady Cannoneers Advance to Regionals!

The Lady Cannoneers are headed to Regionals!  Last night Jefferson defeated Onondaga in 3 sets:  25-14, 25-18, 25-21 to clinch the final spot at Niagara County Community College this weekend for regional play.  Kierstin Burke really came alive last night with 7 service points, 7 kills, and 7 digs.  She brought the fire and intensity right from the start and JCC never looked back.  Ashley Capone once again shined with 3 service points, 13 kills, and 3 blocks and as always Shelby Contryman was a steady force adding 9 service points and 23 assists.  Haley Riley was big up front compiling 8 service points and 5 kills, Stephanie Ennist added 3 kills, Nikki Wormwood had 4 service points, Haley Zicari finished with 4 digs, and Keysha De Jesus Ortiz contributed 4 service points.  The girls have worked so hard and it was nice to display this at home one more time, thank you for your support of the team throughout the season!  Congratulations girls, this is well deserved!
