The Lady Cannoneers Defeat the Lady Spartans

The Lady Cannoneers came home with an important win against Cayuga last night.  They defeated the Spartans in three sets:  25-20, 25-16, and 27-25.   The match counts as a regional/conference match and takes the team to 10-4 regionally.  Haley Riley compiled 13 kills and 10 service points to lead the way while Jenna Hibbard had a steady night with 23 assists.  Jayne Strigle once again led the defense with 18 digs, Rachael Waite added 11, Grace Wallace had 8 and Mel Fakatou had 7 digs respectively.

The team travels on Friday to Onondaga Community College for the Cara Bryant Invitational Tournament so they get a much needed break from regional play.  The team is home next week on the 15th at 6:00 pm to honor the sophomores and on the 18th starting at 10:00 a.m, come on out and support the girls!
