Cassie Birth - #9 Outside Hitter:  Cassie is from Carthage, NY and is majoring in Math & Science/Allied Health here at Jefferson.  She plans on transferring to Brockport after graduating from JCC to continue playing volleyball while studying Kinesiology.  Cassie has had a very successful two years here on the court, last year she compiled 381 kills, 566 digs, and 227 serving points.  Already this year, Cassie has tallied 304 kills, 380 digs, and 180 service points.  She currently is 2nd in the region for kills per set and total kills, 8th for digs, and 10th for digs per set.  Cassie's dedication to the team and sport are unmatched, her love for the game is evident every time she steps out on to the court.  She demands perfection from herself and will work to achieve it.  She is a big reason why this team currently stands at 23-5.  Cassie's advice to next year's team is, "Never take a game or practice for granted, don't complain about the conditioning because soon you won't be doing it anymore.  Play for the love of the game, and don't forget to enjoy The Cycle!"

Alea Gentles - #4 Middle Blocker:  Alea hails from Dallas, GA and is majoring in Humanities and Social Sciences.  She plans on joining the U.S. Air Force in January, 2017.  Last season Alea totaled 235 kills and 61 blocks, and this year she has already compiled 186 kills and 39 blocks.  Alea simply loves volleyball, she gets so excited when her team is victorious, and she has made herself a go-to player.  Alea works hard to juggle a busy schedule between school, working, volleyball, and being a wonderful mom to a beautiful little boy.  Her advice to next year's team is, "Enjoy your season, things may not go as planned but stay patient, be consistent, and remember to persevere through every step of your athletic journey and have no regrets."

Chloe Stinebrickner - #13 Setter:  Chloe is from Turin, NY and is majoring in Physical Education here at Jefferson.  She plans on transferring to a four year school and eventually wants to become a Physical Education Teacher.  Chloe has led this team for the past two seasons as our setter, last year she racked up 838 assists, 312 digs, and 207 service points.  This year Chloe has already compiled 740 assists, 158 digs, and 182 service points.  Chloe is currently ranked 2nd in the region in assists per set.  Chloe's fire quickly sparks this team out on the court, she absolutely loves the game and wants to make herself and her team better every day.  Chloe's advice to next year's team is, "Never dwell on the last play, focus on the next point and Mama's words:  frustration is not your friend!"

Jenna Scott - #1 Libero:  Jenna is from Carthage, NY and is majoring in hospitality and tourism.  As of right now Jenna is unsure of her plans after graduating from JCC in the Spring.  Jenna has been our libero for the last two years, last season she racked up 503 digs and 281 service points and this year she has compiled 351 digs and 180 service points.  Jenna is currently ranked 9th in the region in digs.  Jenna gets fired up when she digs up a hit time after time, she chases down every ball, and is willing to throw herself on the floor in hopes of just getting a touch on the ball.  Jenna's advice for next year's team is, "Don't take the game for granted and show up every day to give it your all.  You don't realize how fast it goes by until your sophomore year."

Meaghan LaClair - #12 Right Side Hitter:  Meaghan is from Philadelphia, NY and is majoring in Human Services.  She plans on going to a four year school for social work after graduating from Jefferson.  Although Meaghan is a sophomore, she has only played one season.  This year she has tallied 99 digs and 40 service points.  Meaghan has worked hard this season, she has made some great saves on the right side and is always happy when her team gets a win.  Meaghan's advice to next year's team is: "Work hard, take of advantage of the season and most of all make it fun.  It goes by too fast to not have fun."

Dia Mackay - #11 Right Side Hitter:  Dia is from Madrid, NY and is majoring in criminal justice, she plans on attending SUNY Canton in the spring majoring in Psychology and Criminal Justice.  Last season Dia tallied 24 kills, 90 service points, and 38 digs.  Unfortunately, this season Dia has been on the injured list with a concussion, so she has been unable to play for the majority of the season.  We have certainly missed her sense of humor!  Dia's advice to next year's team is, "Play every game like it's your last."
