The Lady Cannoneers End their 1st Semester With Win Against the Lady Saints

On Saturday the Jefferson Women's basketball team faced off with Region III opponent North Country Community College. Fighting a poor shooting performance in the first half the Lady Cannoneers found themselves trailing a hot shooting NCCC Saints team by 6. The second half saw the roles reverse as Kathleen Coloney led a second half charge scoring 15 of her game high 22 points, and grabbing 13 of her game high 17 rebounds. Teammate Alyssa Crosby chipped in 19 points to go along with 17 rebounds to partner with Coloney in a dominating front court performance for the Lady Cannoneer freshman. The Lady Cannoneers closed out their first semester schedule with a 8-2 record headed into Mid State Athletic Conference play starting in January.
