In the first game of the 2024 MSAC Champsionhip the Lady Cannoneers jumped out to a 21-9 lead after the 1st quarter and held a 17-point half-time lead over the Lady Spartans. The teams were evenly matched in the second half as the Cannoneers head to the MSAC Championship game with a 17-point win 69-52 win. LaKaiya Butcher lead the Cannoneers with 21 points and Delaney Wiley hit six 3-point baskets scoring 20 points and Kori Nichols scored 18 points. Abby Raven chipped in with 9 points.
In the MSAC Championship Game on Saturday the #5 Lady Cannoneers were matched up with the #6 Onondaga Lady Lazers. The Cannoneers went cold during the game and were held to a season low 50 points on 1-12 shooting from the 3-point line. OCC jumped out to a 18-12 lead after the first quarter and held a 39-25 lead at the half. The Cannoneers could not make a run against Onondaga's stingy defense and fell 78-50. Kori Nichols led the Cannoneers with 14 points, Abby Raven added 12 points and LaKaiya Buttcher chipped in with 11.
