The Lady Cannoneers Start the Second Half of the Season With a Win!

Thursday night the Lady Cannoneers traveled to Tompkins Cortland Community College to open up Mid State Athletic Conference play. Playing their first game in nearly a month Jefferson found themselves trying to knock off some early game rust. They entered halftime with a 2 point lead, overcoming what was once a 9 point deficit early in the half. The second half posed to be a tail of two halves seeing the ladies post 48 points in the half and allowing only 24.

Sophomore guard Jasmine Canady led the way pouring in a season high 30 points to go with 8 assists. Alyssa Crosby not too far behind threw in 27 points, and grabbed 15 rebounds. Amanda Roberts controlled the tempo and tallied a season high with 12 assists. The win finds the Lady Cannoneers picking up where they left off at the end of the fist semester now with a 9-2 record (1-0).

The Lady Cannoneers open up at home Saturday January 11th at 1 pm!
