The Lady Cannoneers Start Second Semester Off Strong With 2nd Win at Home

Saturday afternoon the Lady Cannoneers hosted Mid State foe Finger Lakes Community College. After a back and forth first five minutes Jefferson started to pull away from the visiting Lady Lakers. The Lady Cannoneers set out to push the tempo of the game faster and faster as the game progressed, using their physical conditioning to their advantage. Alyssa Crosby led the way in the first half tallying 19 first half points and leading The Lady Cannoneers to a 45-26 halftime lead. After 40 minutes The Lady Cannoneers bettered their record to 10-2 and 2-0 in conference play. with a 76-55 victory over the Lady Lakers. Jasmine Canady registered 21 points, and 7 steals while Alyssa Crosby totaled 29 points, 13 rebounds, and 6 assists. The Lady Cannoneers will continue Mid State Conference play this Tuesday at 6 pm verse Cayuga Community College at home!
