The Lady Cannoneers Take one from the Lady Hornets!

Saturday afternoon the Lady Cannoneers traveled to face Mid State Conference foe Broome Community College. Fighting yet another slow start, and foul trouble, Jefferson found themselves up by two points at half. Battling back and forth in a very physical half court style basketball game the Lady Cannoneers took a lead with a minute and 30 seconds left on a basket and a foul by Kathleen Coloney. Back and forth free throws, and a key steal by Alyssa Crosby saw Jefferson sneak a road MSAC win out.

Jasmine Canady, and Alyssa Crosby led the scoring attack with 19 points apiece. Kathleen Coloney wasn't far behind tallying 14 points, and 11 rebounds. The Lady Cannoneers take on TC3 Wednesday night at home!
