The Lady Cannoneers Start Off With A Win in Their Home Opener

The Jefferson Women's Basketball team opened their 2014-15 season at home this past Saturday against Region III opponent Herkimer County Community College with a 76-44 win. The Lady Cannoneers were led by the outside shooting and inside games of Kristin McGraw, and Alyssa Crosby. McGraw tallied 24 points on 6 three point field goals and Crosby added 22 points and 9 rebounds.

The Lady Cannoneers saw contributions from their whole roster this past Saturday. All eleven players saw close to double digits played, building what will be a season long team effort. Freshman Courtney Harrington contributed 16 points in just 17 minutes to help lead Jefferson's active bench play.

The Lady Cannoneers have a two game home stand this upcoming weekend against Adirondack on Saturday at 3 pm, and Hudson Valley Sunday afternoon at 1 pm!
