The Lady Cannoneers Win at Home Against SUNY Delhi

On Sunday afternoon the Jefferson Women's basketball team took the floor for the first time in two weeks in a Region III matchup verse SUNY Delhi. The Lady Cannoneer's overcame a slow start and a 23-19 halftime lead to down the Broncos 53-41 for the sixth victory of the year. Sophomore duo Alyssa Crosby and Kathleen Coloney led the way scoring 11 and 16 points respectively. Crosby added 15 rebounds and 7 steals, while Coloney grabbed 9 rebounds. The Lady Cannoneer's are now 6-3 and have one game remaining before the holiday break. They take on North Country Community College next Saturday (12/13) at North Country in Saranac Lake. The game is a one o'clock tip pitting two of the top 5 teams in Region III.
