The Lady Cannoneers End Regular Season With a Win

On Wednesday night The Lady Cannoneer's celebrated their annual Sophomore night, and Coaches vs. Cancer Pink Out game. Sophomore Courtney Harrington is the only Sophomore in this year's graduating class, over her two years career at Jefferson she has tallied to date 361 total points, and 219 rebounds. Courtney is still undecided on her plans for the fall but will transfer and continue her education in the field of physical therapy.

Jefferson hosted Broome for this year's Coaches vs. Cancer game, all proceeds at the door were donated to our Relay for Life team. The Lady Cannoneer's battled back from a slow start to the game behind the three point shooting of point guard Riley Luckie. Luckie teamed up with backcourt partner Marisa Clark to help lead the Lady Cannoneer's to a 60-45 MSAC win over visiting Broome. The victory capped off a 9-3 MSAC regular season record, and a 2nd place regular season finish. Luckie notched 21 points, and 7 assists while knocking down 5 three point field goals, and Clark totaled 17 points.  The Lady Cannoneer's start the MSAC conference playoffs Friday February 19th at Onondaga CC against Corning CC at 8 pm.
