Luckie Verbally Commits to Potsdam State University
Sophomore point guard Riley Luckie from Ogdensburg, New York has verbally committed to Potsdam State University in Potsdam, New York. The Potsdam State Bears compete in the State University of New York Athletic Conference under head coach Brittany Cohen.
Luckie has completed two stellar years at Jefferson averaging 13.4 points per game while controlling the point guard duties. She also finished 4th in school history with 115 total three point field goals made, while shooting 38 percent from behind the arc. Luckie was selected to the Mid State Athletic Conference All-Conference Team, and was also selected to the Region III All-Region 3rd Team winning both awards for the second consecutive year.
For the Cannoneers, under Coach Woodward, Riley Luckie becomes the fifth player to transfer to a NCAA four year program in the last five years.
