The Cannoneers were able to bounce back from a run of disappointing losses with a quality team performance and win over Tompkins Cortland Community College. All 4 goals from the 4-1 victory were scored in the first half. Julius Goetz opened the scoring with a well placed penalty kick. He then went on to win the ball off of a press and slipped it to Anton Wiegand for the second goal. A beautiful pass from Mathijs Van Den Heuvel resulted in Gregor Schauder scoring his first collegiate goal. And the final goal was scored by Fabio Russo and assisted by Lukas Friedrich. The Cannoneers look forward to taking on Adirondack this Saturday in their final away match of the regular season.
