The Lady Cannoneers Win Hope Opener

The SUNY Jefferson Lady Cannoneers kicked off their home season in style with a commanding 4-1 win against Hudson Valley Community College on Saturday. The highlight of the match came from freshman Samantha Stokely, who dazzled the crowd with her first collegiate hat-trick. Stokely's impressive performance showcased her scoring prowess and secured the victory for the Cannoneers.  Adding to the celebration, fellow rookie Kailey Montgomery netted her first collegiate goal, further solidifying the team's dominant performance. Meanwhile, Emily Bombard and Lilly Lottie made significant contributions, each recording two assists to bolster the team's offense.

The Cannoneers' well-rounded play and strategic teamwork were on full display, marking a promising start to the season.
