The Cannoneer Women's Team opened their season in style with a convincing 6-3 win over HVCC. Freshman Abby Bombard lived up to family legacy with 2 assists, and Freshman Morgan Dillenback had a game to remember debut double of assists and goals. The usual suspect Sam Stokely was at the center of the action and involved in every goal for the Cannoneer with 4 scored and 2 assisted. A quality team performance was enough to comfortably win on the road, and the Cannoneer now look forward to hosting their first home game on Wednesday against Broome.
