The Cannoneer Women's Soccer Program topples nationally ranked Mohawk Valley, in a historic win at the Cannoneer Complex. Despite conceding the first two goals the Cannoneers never gave up and put in an incredible team performance to battle their way back into the match. Four unanswered goals saw the Cannoneers earn a deserved win, on the scoresheet was Stokely with 3 goals, Dillenback with 2 assists, Bombard with a goal, and Zehr and King with an assist each. While the attacking was impressive, and the defending was outstanding, it was the goalkeeping that was the standout. Freshman Vaughn made 20+ saves in goal to keep her team in the game and earn herself the player of the match award. The Cannoneers now look forward to conference match up against nationally ranked Genesee this weekend.
