The Cannoneer Women's Soccer Program honored their sophomores with an outstanding team performance in which they beat the Barons 10-1. It took the Cannoneers only 10 minutes and an unfortunate own goal conceded to get things going and find the back of the net, from there the goals kept coming. Some incredible team play and fantastic team goals were scored on the day with more than half of the roster providing a goal or assist. Sam Stokely led the charge with yet another hatrick and was joined on the scoresheet by sophomores Macey Catlin, Jillian Alberry, Madison Cheek, and Hannah Netto as well as freshman Dillenback, Zehr, and Jordahl (her first collegiate goal). Providing the goals were the usual suspects, freshman Morgan Dillenback and Abby Bombard who set up 3 each, as well as sophomores Netto who provided 2, and Stokely and Alberry with one each. The Cannoneers look forward to their last regular season game against North Country this Wednesday and the Region 3 tournament thereafter.
