Bio

Hope VanBrocklin is a local from Dexter, NY, and rejoins the SUNY Jefferson softball coaching staff for the 2025 season. She was the assistant coach for SUNY Jefferson softball from late 2017 - 2019. 

She also trains players privately in the areas of catching, infield, and hitting.

Hope was a 2017 graduate of SUNY Plattsburgh where she played four years of collegiate softball. She was a three-year captain of the team as a catcher and infielder. She finished her career with numerous accolades with the prestigious highlight of receiving the Richard D. Semmler Award for Highest Student-Athlete GPA for 2016-2017.

Hope earned her two bachelors of science degrees from SUNY Plattsburgh in ecology and environmental science in 2017.

In her free time, Hope enjoys doing outdoor activities, playing slowpitch softball, and just being with her dog Nala.
