The Cannoneers Take 2 From the Panthers in First Ever Baseball DH on the Cannoneer Turf Complex

In the first ever baseball game played at the new Cannoneer Turf Complex, Jefferson won 8-3! Kaelen Clarkson pitched a strong 5 innings to pick up the win, allowing only 2 earned runs on 4 strikeouts. Jason Carrasco pitched 2 innings in relief to secure the win. Peter Gallagher slugged 2 doubles, while Tyler Thompson drove in 2 runs. Jacob Ortiz flashed his speed with 4 stolen bases after walking twice. Ashton Brea legged out a triple in the 6th.  JCC would complete the home-opener sweep of TC3 on the strength of 10 runs and 11 hits. Easton Martin allowed only 1 hit in 3 2/3 innings pitched. Jahlil Surles provided 3 RBI and a double. Ashton Brea and Peter Gallagher each drove in 2 runs, while Robert Leyva batted a double.
