Cannoneers Harriers Open Season with Personal Bests

CLINTON, NY - The Cannoneer harriers opened their season Saturday at the annual Hamilton College Short Course Invitational. The meet included 124 athletes competing over a 5K course. Both Jefferson runners set personal best times for the 5K cross country distance. Sophomore Jack Natali (Clayton, NY) completed the course for a 62nd place overall finish in a personal best time of 17:07.9. Natali was followed by fellow sophomore Charles Rogers (Adams, NY) who also covered the 5K course in a personal best time of 20:25.4 for 108th overall place. 

The Cannoneers next competition is at the Bruce Bridgeman Invitational hosted by Finger Lakes Community College on Saturday September 16th. The men's 8K race kicks off at 10:45AM.
