Cannoneers Set Personal and School Records at Harry F. Anderson Invitational

ROCHESTER, NY - The Cannoneer harriers compete at the Annual Harry F. Anderson Invitational hosted by Roberts Wesleyan University on Saturday. The meet included fourteen teams and 175 runners competing over the 8K course. Sophomore Jack Natali led the Cannoneers with a 85th overall place finish. He covered the course in a personal best time of 28:36.8 while setting a Jefferson Cannoneers record time for the 8K distance. The previous record was 29:09.2 held by Edward Goodall in 2017. Fellow sophomore Charles Rogers covered the distance a time of 31:52.1. Rogers notched a personal best for the 5K during the completion of the 8K. "Both Jack and Charles are just starting to do the hard interval work," said Coach Ummer. "They're a long way from hitting their peak form, but are well on their way to some strong season results ."

The Cannoneers return to action on Saturday October 7th when they travel to Houghton College to compete in the Highlander Invitational. The men's start time is 11AM.
