The Cannoneers opened Mid-State conference play at home against Genesee CC and ran into a tough Cougar team. The Cannoneers hung around for a half and then started the second half cold, going 8 minutes without a basket before making a shot. The rest of the game was playing catch up and the Cannoneers lost by the final score of 89-53, Leading the way for the Cannoneers was Jaydon Koiner with 16 points/6 rebounds. No other Cannoneer reached double figure scoring for the evening contest.
