The Cannoneers hosted the Vikings of Hudson Valley and came away with a hard fought 73-71 victory. The game looked out of control in the second half as the Cannoneers were down 19 and valiantly clawed their way back to victory. Leading the way for the balanced Cannoneer attack was Cameron Ruiz with 12 points , followed by Brian Rivera and Brandon Dodge with 12 points each. Also contributing to the win was Devon Green with 9 points and Lawrence Austin with 8 points.
On Sunday, the Cannoneers found themselves in a tough Region III battle against SUNY Adirondack and fell by the score of 76-73. The game would go down to the wire as the Cannoneers would miss a couple of game tying 3 pointers and watch Adirondack secure the game. Leading the way for the Cannoneers was Owen Coall with 18 points, followed by Brian Rivera with 17 points/11 rebounds. Also aiding in the cause today was Brandon Dodge with 10 points and Crishawn Chisolm with 10 points as well. Next up is Finger Lakes in a Mid State conference battle.
