The Cannoneers jumped out to a 14-5 lead over the Spartans early in the first half. Cayuga ended the first quarter on a 7-2 run to pull with in four. The Spartans outscored the Cannoneers 10-6 in the second to go into the half tied 22-22. The Cannoneers came out in the third quarter on a 17-1 run to the freshman LaKaiya Butcher and Kori Nichols combined for 16 3rd quarter points to head into the 4th quarter 49-32. Jefferson cruised to a 65-43 Mid-State Conference win. The Cannoneers were led by Freshman Butcher's 17 points, Delaney Wiley, and Kori Nichols 14 a piece and Abby Ravens' 10 and 13 rebounds.
