The Cannoneers opened their Region III slate this past Saturday at home against the Timberwolves of SUNY Adirondack and ran into a team that would make timely baskets all day for the victory on the Cannoneer's court. The Cannoneers would allow 9 three pointers to be made in the contest and the majority would come as the 30 second shot clock was winding down. The Cannoneers led after the first intermission only to see their lead disappear in the second half and swallow a tough 85-76 loss in their home opener. Leading the way for the Cannoneers was Christian Rohlehr with 19 points and 9 rebounds for the game.
