The Cannoneers traveled to Dryden, NY on Sunday to face off against TC3 in an early season showdown with the Panthers for first place and came away with a disappointing loss. A slow start to the second half and free throw shooting would be the demise of the Cannoneers as they fell behind by as many as 20 points in the second half, only to battle back and have a shot at the end and be on the short side of a 90-85 win for the Panthers.
Once again the Cannoneers would have a balanced scoring effort with many players contributing in the sacoring column. Muhamadul Ndaiye would lead the way with 17 points, followed closely by Kristan Lewis with 14 points/12 rebounds, Machi Plummer with 13 points/ 11 rebounds, Tajshaun Ferrell with 13 points/7 rebounds, and Dante Stokes with 11 points/ 5 assists in leading the Cannoneer cause.
Next up is a home game Wednesday versus Broome.
