The Cannoneers hosted the Finger Lakes Community College Lakers on Saturday and came away with a big home win to improve to 5-1 on the season (4-1) in conference. It was a balanced effort as the Cannoneers would jump out to a 42-24 lead at half and never look back in cruising to a 93-60 final score. Ibrahim Wally would have his best game of the season in leading the Cannoneers with 13 points/ 4 rebounds, Jaylin Maysonet would continue his improving play with a 13 point/6 rebound effort. Also chipping in was Machi Plummer with another double-double of 10 points/ 11 rebounds and Kristan Lewis with 10 points/4 rebounds/5 assists. Tajshaun Ferrell and PJ Asare would also help the cause with 9 points apiece in the convincing victory.
