The Cannoneers traveled to Cayuga to face the Spartans on Wednesday night and came away with a hard fought 66-61 win. Leading the way for the Cannoneers was Shamell Ponds with 19 points, followed by Dante Stokes with 11 points and Sheldon Jean-Baptiste with 9 and Babekir El-Shiekh with 8 in the balanced attack. The defense came up big in the last 5 minutes of the game to secure the victory for the Cannoneers. The Cannoneers are on the road this weekend as they travel to the Albany area.
