The Cannoneers played one of the top teams in Region III, Fulton-Montgomery close, back came up short by the score of 89-85. This game was a tail of two halves as the Raiders jumped on the Cannoneers in the first half and raced to a 61-38 halftime lead. The Cannoneers would storm back in the second half only to lose the game in the final minutes of the contest. Leading the way for the balanced Cannoneer attack was Machi Plummer with 19 points.
